Internet affiliate marketing is a business where people make money by sending targeted traffic to a merchant through their "affiliate link". This is how it works. You apply to become an affiliate for a company or "merchant" that offers a commission for each sale that you bring to them. If you are approved then you'll receive you own unique affiliate link that will be embedded with your affiliate identification number so they can track your sales. Each time you send a person to the merchant site through your link and they buy something, you'll be credited with a commission from that sale.
